363 A.2d 410
No. 7582Supreme Court of New Hampshire Original
Decided September 13, 1976
1. Because under the circumstances the trial court’s denial of defendants’ motion for release on bail pending their appeals from convictions for criminal contempt might result in their having served their sentences before their appeals are resolved, the supreme court ordered the defendants to be released forthwith pending their appeals upon the furnishing of such reasonable bail as the superior court might determine, and conditioned upon their nonparticipation in any future activities at the site of the nuclear plant.
David H. Souter, attorney general, and Gregory H. Smith, assistant attorney general, and Carleton Eldredge, county attorney (Mr. Smith and Mr. Eldredge orally), for the State.
Kearns Colliander (Mr. Peter F. Kearns orally) for the defendants.
